Would ZT ever consider making a smaller folder (along the lines of a Strider PT)?

I would be all over that in a heartbeat!
There are a lot of small folders, but very few small & tough.

I hope so, Some thing like the 350 only without assisted opening and a flipper. Maybe 154 cm steel and a steel lock. That would be perfect in my eyes with a 3 inch blade and hopefully around 100 bucks.

you can take the speedsafe out of the 0350 and it makes a great flipper, i did it to one of mine and love it.

I think they should make something like:
Blade shape of the ZT 0551 or similar
3 inch blade
4 - 4.5 inch handle
flipper
Ti Frame Lock
154cm or s30v blade steel
Blue g-10 non lock side
All Stone Washed
and price it around $150ish

That would be almost perfect . Not a fan of blue but I am a fan of 154cm at the 100-150 price point I liked my 560 but I sold it shortly after I received it due to it being a bit to large. If you all build this I put me down for a couple

Sounds good. But I'll take a brown, green, or even orange G10 scale...

I could be wrong, but I swear I remember Thomas saying something about a smaller ZT being in the works. Not soon, but ideas are being thrown around AFAIR. I would be cool with a Cryo with a Ti lock side and G10 non-locking side with something along the lines of S30V or Elmax.

This!! An upscale cryo would work for me. I'd take one unassisted though.

The 0780 is a slightly smaller and lighter offering from ZT and it should fit the category of EDC very well
Here are the specs from ZT:
Steel: S30V stainless-steel with Tungsten DLC coating
Handle: Textured G-10, matte black
Blade Length: 3.5 in. (8.8 cm)
Closed Length: 4.5 in. (11.4 cm)
Overall Length: 8.125 in. (20.6 cm)
Weight: 3.6 oz.

I am looking forwards to this knife

I'm thinking the 0550/0551 is fairly close to this criteria, but has a 3.5" blade. Maybe the 0780 like od mentioned, but basically a ZT knife the size of the Blur? Or I can see Cryo-esque features roided up into a ZT knife. Interesting. I'm in! :D

+1! Any color G-10 would be fine with me. Just make it ZT tough!

I would LOVE a scaled down 550/1.
3" or a little less, and rock solid!

I would love to see the 0550 given the same treatment as the 0300 was to make the 0350.

Basically, take the 0550, size it down by about 10% and give it G-10 handles with full steel liners and a liner lock. It'd be a home run for every crowd.

Just a smaller 0350 would work for me. Keep everything the same. Cut the closed length down an inch or so and everything else will come into place. :)
