Here is a link to a post I made in Community about the Wounded Warriors Project apparently recent new policy on firearms and firearm related issues.
Please note that this is NOT about not supporting our veterans but in light of this new policy I think their are better organizations to do it through.

It's actually a pretty good scam. You start an NPO then hire yourself as the CEO and pay yourself a salary from the business

Their is getting paid and GETTIN PAID!! almost $350,000 is at least twice what I think any employee of a non-profit should make.

Doesn't really sound anti-gun at all to me. Honestly, my guess would be that it has more to do with a non-partisan charity trying to avoid alienating people on either side of the aisle.

Well if that was their goal they have failed miserably they are losing support from the gun community at a steady rate. If you don't want your logo on firearms that is one thing but to not go on a show just because it is pro-gun is a whole other issue. The idea was to help promote Wounded Warrior Project on veterans day and they basically said because you are pro gun we don't want your help.

Meh, they turned down an invite due to an existing policy. Honestly, the reaction from the show leaves a MUCH worse taste in my mouth than the WWPs responses. Declining an invitation is hardly akin to stating you don't want support from X segment of the population, and it seems childish and petulant of the program to conflate the two.
