How did those colors come about? Is that a titanium anodized blade of some sort? Really interesting!

That knife is called the Djinn. It is a sole authorship one-of-a-kind piece by Deryk Munroe. It is a big folder, with a 4 1/2" blade and a 10 1/4" OAL. The blade is Nitre-blued mosaic damascus of Deryk's own making, and the handle is hand-carved and gun-blued 1200 layer wood grain damascus, also forged by Deryk. The inlays are antiqued silver, and the stones are Ammonite and Garnet.

There are more pics of that knife here: http://bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=399732&highlight=Djinn

Nice detail work. Those forks look to be dangerous off the handle but a beaut of a knife nonetheless.
