I finally pulled the trigger and bought my first Chris Reeve Sebenza. Thanks to "Humblerodent"! I didn't know what to expect because Ive read reviews where people were disappointed and some were pleasantly surprised and it was everything they had hoped. I got the small Sebenza with carbon fiber scales and insingo blade and Im gonna tell you! I love it!! Its the perfect size, its beautiful, the tolerances are so tight and precise. To sum things up.........it hasn't left my pocket since I got it!! So, anybody who is on the fence about getting one.......DO IT!!!!

Great looking blade shape and I think the best looking one out of the bunch. Good luck with it.

Great decision on an Insingo small! Welcome to the Sebenza club

Thats a really nice combination there as well. The CF versions are substantially lighter than the full titanium handles.
Don't baby it! It's a tough knife.

Congrats! I would really like to try an insingo sometime.

Congratulations with your first CRK, it only takes one to get started. Just think what a large would be like with the small, double the pleasure. :)

Welcome. My Insingo 21 is my absolute favorite knife in my collection, and it won't be going ANYwhere, ever.

If I ever get one it will definitely be an Insingo blade. I'm very partial to wharncliffe and sheepsfoot type blades.

I highly recommend it, brother. A few passes on a stone, or a Sharpmaker, and this thing is like a...well, razor*.

*"Insingo" is the Zulu word for razor according to CRK

It'll be a while, I'm working my way up and making sure I don't have multiples of the same size and shape. I mean right now my collection is:
Kershaw Leek 5+ years old
Esee4 6 months
Kabar Dozier Couple weeks? I won it here in a giveaway
Yep, grand total of 3

Purchases I have lined up for the future: OpinelNo.7(I want a sheepsfoot one, is there one or would I have to grind it myself? That wouldn't be a problem with me), a Mora, Benchmade mini grip..... the blade I want on the BM is the same as the Insingo... Maybe I'll forgo the BM and save for a Sebenza.
It's going to be really hard to knowing a friend's BM Barrage is the nicest knife I've personally handled. I know it would satisfy all my needs.

Edit: OMG, now I looked up the specs of the two and they're very similar (barring materials and F&F) Look what you did to me BF...

I only like the Umnununum(how ever it's spelled) blade shape. I don't see them available through. I like it in clip point and Tanto.

Congratulations. I think a lot of us felt the same way. After my first, my standards officially went way up. While my wallet thickness went way down ;)
