Wow. Amazed at the detail in the designs!

I just acquired my first Reeves knife, a USA made #36 Skinner from my Father. So I thought I would learn some more about the Reeves knives. WOW! I've never seen such detail. Are there other makers that achieve similar results? I'm interested in learning more about the technology behind the art.

Looks like my love for knives has moved into a higher price bracket now!

As a side question, anyone have a guess (or a way to find out) about the approximate year that my knife was made?

A quick call to the CRK factory should answer your question. Congrats on the skinner. Sounds cool; could you provide a picture?
Also, you might want to pick up their DVD showing the behind the scenes goings-on and history. Very cool!

Your knife didn't come with the standard white "birth certificate" card singed by Chris?

I don't know if my dad still has the card or not. He got them quite a while ago.
