Some of you have read about my problems sharpening my aus8 Ti-Lite and how it just wouldn't take an edge. Even after reprofiling it, it just wouldn't get sharp.

I've been working on Japanese polishing and decided to practice on the Ti-Lite. Let me tell you...after a couple hours of work, I got the secondary bevel knocked down into a primary beveled knife and it's pretty scary....this guy is sharper than my Benchmade at this point

Let's see how long the edge lasts.....

Anybody else convert a knife from a secondary bevel to a primary bevel?

Yep. There wasn't that much hollow to the blade at all. I didn't touch the edge at all, I just profiled it down into a primary bevel. There's still alot of work left to do since it should take me about ten times the amount of time I spent on it to bring the polish back to where it need to be to match the level of polish that the rest of the blade is, but that's about it...just laid the blade down and went to work....even managed to work a little appleseed geometry into the blade too...
