I just got this Benchmade 710-01. I love this knife. I can't think of a knife I've had that I liked more. I'm not going to mention what those are because their die hard fans will probably want my head :D

I absolutely love this knife. My only complaint is why in the world would Benchmade only make 300. This should be part of their regular line up, maybe even throw in some different inserts.

I was thrilled when a forum member contacted me after I had been looking for one for a couple of months telling me he had one.

So I was curious what the chances are of BM making some of these with different inserts.
 
I just bought a standard 710. I can't wait to get it! :D

Dunno why they don't try other variations on the standard style though...
 
It's great . . . I just wish they had put a clip on it . . . I'd carry it everyday.
 
have a 710 proto i really like w/aluminum handles, black anodised, i really like it better than the G10, really feels good in your hand.

regerettably, it is LNIB condition, and being a proto, only 200 made if what i hear is correct, and me having enough knives for EDC's, i have never carried it, only 'fondled' lol, but it does feel good in the hand, imho. they outta make a run of them, imho
