WOW! Buck 112 Drop Point

It looks like Buck as leaked out some prototype Buck 112s with drop point blades. All I can say is....

I have a Buck Ecolite 112 that has been rebladed with similar drop point blade from a Buck 442. My Ecolite drop point has shot to top of my EDC pile. It combines the great feel in the hand of the 112 frame with a stunning looking and more functional (for EDC use) drop point.

Man o' man, I hope Buck sees fit to put this 112 drop point into full production. What a stunner.

I was able to find them by putting Buck 112 drop point prototype in my search engine. Happy hunting.
 
I might just have to have one of those if they go into regular production or even limited production. :thumbup:

There's at least one listing on the 'auction site' describing these as a 112/450 'hybrid buildout' from Buck (the '450' pattern stamp on the blade seems to hint at that). Might be one of those 'spare parts' knives, put together from excess parts inventory (as Buck is known to do, occasionally).
 
the 112 is my favorite Buck and that one defeinitely has caught my attention. i would buy a couple

Thanks for the info. That would be sad. The show version above seems to be a great knife. It would be nice, when they would make as a different version to the regular 112.
