Nice pair Kwazyjuice. They do compliment each other don't they. The standoffs look great, and CF scales are sweet! One for each front pocket.
 
Haha, Thanks! They sure do!! Now I'm deciding if I want to add a crusader cross nut to my slicer....

Does it stick out far? Or barely noticable?
 
Nice man! All these textured CF scales is making me want one even more! One of these days I'm going to get a hold of one.

I think I'd like a smooth one, but can't seem to pull the trigger on one. I know I'd love the textured though! Nice pics Gents.
 
Nice pics! I finally caved in and ordered a smooth carbon fiber scale for my anodized blue 3.5". It should be here tomorrow. I think it will dress it up nicely.

How do you like the textured carbon fiber. It almost looks like black G10 in some pictures. Are you able to see the fibers?
 
It's awesome. Mine has lots of shimmer and lots of grip. I personally like mine better than my smooth CF scale.

Heres textured CF on the left and Black G-10 on the right. It is difficult to capture the essence of the textured CF on camera but once you get it in hand you will understand.

The textured just has a different look about it... And I love the texture of it :)

The smooth does look sweet though!! It's growing on me. But there's just something about that textured... it draws to me

And yes you can see the fibers in it

I really like how the handle screws and holders are swapped around. Matches the cross nut also, and I think if flows pretty good like that. Very nice comparison pic, too, btw. :thumbup:
 
Thanks man. I thought it looked a little cleaner having all of the screw heads on the lock side instead of having the one backwards for the crusader cross. I'm going to do it to my other XMs when I get the chance.
