Wow - Got a Camillus USMC Fighting Knife

I've wanted a kabar and have often handled those made by Ka-Bar and Ontatio. The Ka-bar, was too modern, but a beauty. The Ontario was rough.

I bought the Camillus because of teh recent demise of that company. I wish I had gotten one a long time ago. The classic shape with pakerized coating. Very Shar with the top part of the clip sharpened. It will go well with the M1 Carbine I want to buy and my WWII edition (now called GI) Springfield 1911.

I am very happy...now should I use it or put it up. I have an Ontario AFSK.

I'm guessing use it, but treat it right.

I love my my Ka-Bar. Its not camillus, its ka-bar, but its the good old 1095with parkerized coating and what not. Definately use it man, I love beating the crap out of mine and stuff, and it touches up nicely.
 
I wouldn't give mine up, especially now. It's an old design but still a helluva knife. Use it and enjoy. Good find.

Get you a Case-Bar and an Ontario-Bar as well?
Sure is nice havin' 'em two slicers to add.
