Ok here's the deal. Last month I got a ZTBM from another forumite. This week I got a ZTSH (becareful! the knives wanted listings work!!) These are my first BM and SH respectively. Then My Camp Tramp shows up this week too!

So here's the problem. I (perhaps foolishly) figured that once I had the actual knives in front of me and could handle them I would decide on the "keepers" and sell off the ones that didn't quite do it for me.(I know, I know, good logic, bad plan!) See my primarily urban/suburban needs are much more for 5" and under knives. I wanted a couple of the bigger blades for occasional use in the yard or camping/hiking. Well, and of course just to have 'cause they're fun!!!

So when I laid out the NO-E, The basic 7, camp tramp, ZTSH, basic 9, and ZTBM I spent about 2 hrs last night handling, comparing and evaluating and the only conclusion I came to was that EVERY time, my favorite one of the bunch was THE ONE IN MY HAND AT THE TIME

Tough choice, and also it is why I don't make decisions like that. I generally sell "other" knives and stuff and keep the Busses and Swamp Rat's :D:D

Good Luck :D:D

Hey Hunter,

I like you so much this is what I am gonna do for you. You box those blades up and ship them over to me and in, oh let's say a couple of months, I will decide which one fits your needs best and then I'll ship it back to you. Since you won't need the others and after being seperated from them for a period you won't even miss them. How's that strike you? Hey, I'm here for you buddy!

John

I'll go you one better. Just as Obi-won says, "trust your instincts".

Go through the "which one feels best" routine again.

While you have the one you want and that feels "best" in your hand, close your eyes, and have someone box up the others and send them to me. I will even cover the shipping. Don't open your eyes until they are gone.

When you open your eyes, it will all be like a dream. You will have your favorite knife, and your life will be free of conflict and stress.

I'm there for ya too buddy....

LOL!!! Good one Utah;)

I still plan on using them all (someday;)) so I gave up trying to decide long ago:D

I had my Apprentice Badger (now with micarta), that is ALL I need...

Well OK, it doesn't chop branches all that well, so I bought A Basic 9 crinkle coat, which I am eagerly awaiting...

Well OK, that's a bit big for everyday, so now I am trying to trade for an Assault Shaker for the small end...

THAT will be all I need...

Well, maybe a Steel Heart, and a Natural Outlaw... Oh, the Groove Master looks interesting, and EVERYONE NEEDS a Skeleton Key (they're just Bad Kharma;) ).............

Send me your knives, and I will only take what I need and pass the rest on to the next guy...:D
