WOW Kelly Black Raven Double Bit "CRUISER"

Great stamp. It's a shame that some one took a grinder to the bit. I bet it won't sell at that price.

Wow! That won't last long. I can't believe they didn't do an auction on it being that nice and a cruiser.

Hi 00,

Very cool looking Axe......however, the problem is (besides cost) is that, if you did buy/own that Raven, I'd bet it would be a "Safe Queen".

Your right...A safe queen or a wall hanger for sure. I like cruisers and have a few that would be put to work before this one would.

Hi 00 (aka Tom)

Yea, this is the problem I have with so many Knives. I'm afraid to use them. For instance, here I am searching the Web for a "all around" fixed blade (Hunting if you will) knife with a 3" to 5" blade. I have a "made in Japan" SOG SEAL PUP I bought over a dozen years ago and I've used it ONCE! I also have a NOS fixed blade SCHRADE PH 1 (Loveless design) that I've never used. So, why is it that I'm always looking at the likes of the Izula ll or such ? Thanks God I've become a BIG fan of Mora knives. I plan to buy a few more in the near future as I'm not afraid to use the Mora's. As far as Axes/Hatchets are concerned, I've been buying and (trying to) restore some older Axe Heads. I have a tough time when it comes to USING and just wanting because it's nice! I don't think I'd have a problem using an old PLUMB or COLLINS Axe but, I might be afraid to mess up say a nice GB.

Regards,
HARDBALL aka Tom
