Holy smokes! Now every Buck I own came sharp, but this new Alaskan Guide is just SCARY sharp! :eek: Do they do something different to them?
 
The s30v takes a keen edge. Do you have picture of it? They are really nice knives from what I have seen.:thumbup:

Nope. That is what happens when you mix Buck's Edge 2x with Bos treated S30V steel.

One of the best knives made today, IMHO. Congrats on your purchase. :thumbup:

Thanks, I sure like it. I just have to be careful, I've been known to cut myself and this one would sure do some damage!

Oh, that's the berries! The blackened blade and emblem are pretty nice. I am looking at Buck knives all the time. I want a stag Buck.
 
That is one nice 110. I've got the same one on my side right now. I was so impressed with the AG 110 during Deer season a few years ago that I got a back up woody and a Stag AG for show. The blade coating on the first one is Gloss Jet Black the other two are more of a Brushed Gun Metal. I like the Gloss Jet Black the best!

Side note.

Plumberdv, When you posted or replied did you select "Instant email notification". Look down under Additional Options, or take a look at this pic:

Yes I did and I've gone back and looked at each of them to check. I've also checked to see that my e-mail address is correct and didn't somehow get changed.:confused:

Yesterday I did get one notification but it was a day old. Nothing since then.
 
Well sir, I don't know. It's been working good for me, the notifications come in to my email quick, like yours just did. Might be a good question for the Service & Support folks.
 
The 110AG is a deal at twice the Cabella's price. Definitely an excellent knife.

I have a bookmarked link that I have used for months to the Cabelas Stag AG 110, and it no longer works, and I cannot find it on the website either???
 
I found it listed in the Cabela's Canadian Fall/Winter Catalog, but I can't see any web listing either.
