Kind of a mix of Bravo Rescure, CSAR Responder, Alpah, and 880T. Another thumbs up for the knock-off fairies.

Made in China and has Buck USA stamped on the blade.Man you just can't trust a Communist nowadays.:barf:

Wow some unexpecting kid will be running around with that knife thinking he really has a BUCK, what a shame.
On the other hand, someone far far away beileves BUCK is such a great Co. that they chose to copy there name to sell their crap.
Glass half full

I wonder if it has the Bos logo on the reverse side of the blade?

I dont know Tom, I'll have to look, last night there were 2 bidders:eek::confused: I can understand 2 people not realizing it is a fake, i guess, but who thinks thats a good lookin knife?:barf:

Yep Kevin, a lot of people are clueless. All they know is Buck means quality.Tactical looking knives seem to be big sellers nowadays and they probably think they're getting a heck of a deal.I wonder if they went as far to forge the box with the (FOREVER warranty)!Could you imagine if one of those knives were sent to Buck for repair.

I know Plumberdv has spent a bunch of his time and money buying fake Bucks to bring them to the attention of the good folks at Buck Knives. I take my hat off to you Plumberdv!!!:D:thumbup:

I waded through several hundred Buck listings but I found it. I e-mailed the seller this question: This knife is not made by Buck why do you advertise it as so? do you have no honor? It says "USA" on the blade but you say it is made in china. Which is true?
I also reported it to eBay as copyright infringement.

actually I found 2 different listings with different pics. They both got the question / & reported.

I was going to inquire as to if anyone had taken the time to do this. Counterfeiting is a huge business now-a-days and most major manufacturers, as well as eBay, take the trafficking in such seriously. I recently had a case in which myself and my team confiscated 2.4 million in retail value of fake Coach, Louis Vuitton and similar purses and handbags. It was from only TWO booths in a flea market. Judging from the money and property were confiscated, it is a huge business...which has several negative effects. Tax evasion, ties to other criminal enterprises, diminished product quality recognition, lost jobs... the list goes on and on.

If that was true, then why isn't it listed on BUCKs website? As it is there is a knife which is similar, but with a different blade shape, name, and price. We all know that BUCK will not sell something as being USA made if it's not. In fact, here is a photo of the real knife from BUCK that is listed in their catalog.
