Six years ago I got a small regular Sebenza with a polished blade. It is very nice. Well, with word floating around of the possible phasing out of the 21, I thought now was the time to act. But this time I wanted something nice for the office.
This arrived today. It is much nicer than I thought it would be based on pictures. I had never seen an inlay Sebenza in person. Excellent fit and finish, smooth, about 60% lockup. I prefer thin edges, and you have to admit Sebenzas often come with edges that are *not* thin. I considered ordering from CRK and requesting a thin edge, but that would mean a long wait. It turns out this was not necessary. This one measures on average 0.021-0.022" behind the bevel.
Overall, outstanding.
And with a couple of blades from Ray Laconico to round out the "nice" knives.
