Well I cruise in this section every once and a while and after seeing the wallyworld 110 tread I just reliesed that I have not owned a 110 in a lot of years. Well just got mine this weekend 23.99$ out the door, and it was really strange. As stated earlier my last 110 was left to another Marine when I left the Corp. I figured it served me so well he could use it as a boot.(He had nothing for pers. gear)

When I got home I immed opened the tin and then it was weird. I smelled old webgear, could hear the rain and smelled smoke. It was absolutely strange that the feeling of the handle and the famillier shape took me back. Dont get me wrong it wasnt a flashback, but just a memory of the last time I held one.

So thanks buck for bringing home a long lost friend:thumbup:

Only neg. part is that QA in Idaho needs a whipping. It has the Worst marirng on the bottom of the blade where the guy putting the edge on slipped aginst it. Really guys it is That noticable, but Ill keep it anyway!

Great post. But I say send back the knife with a polite note. Hey, Buck doesn't want an unhappy customer out there, that much is plain. Their committment to customer satisfaction is legendary.

Yep send it back in. We will get a new blade on it. And the QA in Idaho most certainly does not need a whipping.

No problem with the Gouge, but I think that I will photo it and email it in. As for the whipping, I was just being a nudge.
