Here comes a full-size folding knife especially built to workfield harsh. T08 features
a Sandvik 12C27 blade, and the innovative tripe edge design caters to the maximum
toughness and versatility you could ever expect. It also carries an integral wrenching
gadget which is built right into the handles scales and capable of addressing 4mm/
6mm/8mm/10mm screw nuts. At the bottom of the handle sits a Tungsten DLC window
breaker promising reinforced strength anytime, anywhere. A bottle opener could be
found at the end of blade spine. On the other sides, tip down clip and brass lanyard
tube provide easy carrying experience.

Blade: Sandvik 12C27 (58-59HRC), Satin Finish 3 3/8 in. (8.6cm), 1/8 in. (3.17mm) thick
Scale: Terxtured G10, 17/32 in. (13.4mm) thick
Overall: 6 5/16 in. (20.1cm)
Lock: Liner Lock
Weight: 5.53oz (156g

Hi Monofletch -

It surely is an interesting design - I would like a more standard blade grind, but I do like the multi wrench idea and some of the features.

I am not much of a "tactical" guy, but glass breakers and wrenches are tools that anyone can use and were not necessarily something that people needed 100 years ago - so they are not traditional knife features and as such these design cues have some "change management" issues to overcome.

It is a move in the right direction for Sanrenmu in making original designs.

Two things. One, it's supposedly a fake Sanrenmu. Two, when I saw them for sale, they weren't cheap.

Don't know who makes it, or how good it is. But the design is interesting, with some neat gimmicks like the wrench and a Besh-like grind.

It's on their official website...

The looks turn me off. It just looks... Chinese. It's the grid cut in one side of the G10. If they made it classier I might consider it.

The other thing is it lacks a tip for piercing. I don't like knives that can't puncture things.

Third, the thumbplate is rather small.

It has a LAWKS system, by the way.

THE MAIN TURN OFF IS THAT THESE GO FOR UP TO $70!

Well, okay, I see Sanrenmu as the solid $12 knife company. I have a 736 and a 710 and they are better built than most folders I have used.

It is like when I go to the pistol range and out shoot all the cops with my Hi Piont 40 S&W...some kind of Taboo because they are so inexpensive.

WOW! $70! That is a turn off.

Actually I'm pretty sure it's closer to being a knock-off of a Buck Bravo.

What happens if I can't find it?

Also, I have only shot 1 Hi-Point. It was a 9mm Compact (if you could call it that, was enormous but only held 8rds), and it was very unreliable. I know they all aren't, but this one had about 500rds through it and had severe ejection problems. The ejection port is so tiny of a rather large gun.

Anyways, has anyone held one of these? $70 is pretty steep, that's good EDC knife money from the big 3.

I have an XD9- Glock 22 40 and Hi Point 40-- I will pick up my HP first. The other 2 are GREAT weapons, but that HP just fits me and has NOT failed me yet. Mine is a 2011. Not sure if things have changed. Lifetime waranty and $169 price tag. Sanrenmu of pistolas!!

You know, Hi-point was one of the only brands I refused to work on in the gunsmith shop? The sheer volume of HiPoint weapons that came in for repairs was staggering, second only to Bersa. Most of the components are made from pressed pot metal so whatever you do don't dry fire. I have worked on and shot them in the past, there is no point arguing, I know my Sig will outshoot a HiPoint.
Now back to the spammy tasting topic. You didn't post a review, no picks of you holding or useing the knife, you just copied and pasted a description right down to the stock photo. The rest of your posts are why people should run out and buy one of these POS knives. Only thing missing is a link to a webpage and you would get flagged for Spamming.

LT, clearly you are discounting the abilities of the shooter. A truly legendary shooter could outshoot all others with a zip gun fabricated from a ballpoint pen, a bed spring and a rusty nail!

How is this thread still here? This belongs in the manufacturers sub-forum...oh wait, there isn't one;)

Geez... I read the raves of the 710 {on this site)... search Sanrenmu--find their website -- find new knives and get clobbered. Thanks for being so......astute.

I never said other brand pistols were bad. I said MY HP FIT ME and I LIKED IT! My wife is a brunette- i don't like blonds, but I also prefer DELUXE pizza over peporoni or sausage. I live on the edge,, I shoot laquer drentched steel core ammo out of my AK -- drive a deisel powered Jeep--and drink energy drinks loaded with sugar. That doesn't make me a bad guy!!!

and yes...2 of my very good friends are police officers.. no disrespect, but neither can out shoot me.

I think we've heard/read quite enough at this juncture...this had little enough to do with knives (hint: General Knife Discussion) to begin with...let's try to keep this in mind for future efforts.
