WOW! Several Movie Stars, And A Couple Of Females Are New Members Here!

You guys are gullible, lonely and starstruck! ;) I don't get on the forums as much as I used to but when I do, I'm always amazed at how a rumor of a "star" or a female can come onto these and some other forums and they get such "special" treatment! The thread awhile back concerning Jon Voight's daughter, (I think her name is Angelo Joline or something like that), was a member, brought this to my attention. I couldn't believe all the responses that this thread received, (and some, of course, sexually!), until Kevin responded that it was a hoax. Even then, some guys refused to believe Kevin!

I remember a poster, (a "poser"), a few years back made some threads asking, (real cute of course), how a female could get started collecting knives. "She" received so many responses, all other threads almost came to a stop. Several nice guys offered to send "her" knives that "she" could examine. "She" accepted and a couple of sensible folks even asked for "her" phone number! :) Of course, "she" ended up being an imposter and a "he" and the nice guys were out knives.

Listen, I'm not slamming anyone here and I really wish more females and "stars" would join us here and maybe they do. I just get such a chuckle out of the mention of a star or female being here and then the posts pile up.

The REAL "STARS" here of course are the great makers that frequent these forums and all of you wonderful knife fans! I'm always amazed at what a great bunch of folks we have here, (but so gullible)!

By the way, in that "Angelo Joline" thread, Sly Stallone's name came up. Yes, he's a knife and gun collector, (a few makers I personally know have sold knives to him), but he's a Calif. liberal weenie! He actually was a liberal spoksman here in sick Calif. for gun and yes, KNIFE control!

I'm not a big country music fan but if you want to notice a star that likes knives and is not afraid to admit it, Randy Travis is your man!
 
The company I used to work for in Florida sold a bunch of guns to Stallone back when he lived in Miami.

Kurt Russell (Ted Nugent's best friend) is an avid hunter, shooter and all around outdoorsman, and non wuss.

I can't beleive how many people seemed to have
beleiveD the Angelina Jolie thing. Sheesh, Yes she apprently really does collect knives, but only old ones.
 
I didnt think it was Angelo Joline, but not really sure , thats why i ask for some proof. I would think spark would have let us know if it really was her. I dont think she would have used her name if she was going to be posting. Its not like she would need any speacial treatment.

Ever hear of "tongue-in-cheek"? ;) No, I guess we only use that expression here on the ranch. By the way, what's a TV? Yes, please send me one but I still don't think I'll watch Angelo on it! :D
 
Well Steven Segal loves them and admits to that openly by putting his name on his knife created with Kershaw I beleive.

Now that other thing guys I have to agree that if stars did indeed frequent these sites and they might. I strongly dought they would post under there real names just to avoid being hasled by star struck members.

They want to talk to talk knives not lives.
 
If "stars" are hanging on this board I agree it is a good thing, as they are exposed to the middle class.

Also, they are exposed to the incredibly profound and wise things that I say every hour of every day, as all of you know.

The lady is Angelina Jolie. She should be renamed The Body. As far as I can tell she has the best physique that any actress has had since Ursula Andress walked onto the beach to meet Sean Connery.
 
IMHO beautiful females are works of art. My wife is extremely beautiful and most of my friends envy me because many of my female friends are very good looking. Unfortunately, none of them are into knives, guns, etc. And they probably never will be. It is too difficult for them simply because people overwhelm them like Gene said.

Celebrity worship is a mental illness.
We are so saturated by media that we are struck like a deer in the head lights when someone actually steps off the screen into our seemingly unrelated and mundane lives.

Celebrities are normal people. Sometimes not very interesting, usually quite atttractive but still someone like the ones you see every day.
Deny the illusion of celebrity!

This reminds me of the tag line Danelle was using for a while;
"I'm not a thirteen year old girl, but I play one on the internet"

By the way, Angelina Jolie is a tough looking gal but lately she looks like she is falling into the Hoolywood starving female syndrome...
Please give generously to feed the starlets.
