got my BK10 goodness today. am amazed at the level of quality, and the even grinds, and the tumble finish... the polish on the non tumbled faces are beauty.
KaBar outdid themselves. to name names, John and Paul did us proud. sitting on that treasure of old Camillus stock, all these years. turning them into beauty, allowing us Beckerhead's access. sweet and awesome barely cover it. thanks guys! Ethan too of course, in other ways, that can't really be described.
wow. good times.
and then i'm thinking about the tweeners, esp the mini-magnum camp. what a knife. it's alive. so alive. you guys who haven't seen one, or held one, well, in less than 1/2 a year, you might... they're, sweet. a dangler pouch sheath would do these things well. thin, fast, slicey. probably one of the thinnest actually.
the mini-campanion? again, wow. was a good thing to experience. it's going to be extremely popular, i'd bet a donut. same for the clip-point, but i'm honestly not as excited about that, even though i know it's likely to be super-popular. who knows?
there's a couple more new guys coming, and who knows, some deep surprises. it feels to me like there's progress afoot, so much new stuff, refinements, and tweaks from the great guys at KaBar, Ethan, perhaps other sources.
it's a good time to be a Beckerhead. a VERY good time.
oh, yeah, basically less than 4.9 business days left to get your BK10
you know those jerks will take a half day on the last day
moo hah hah. *smooch*
enjoy your Beckers. they are special.
