I realize there a lot of threads on this but I just got this knife. Who better to know my excitment over a new knife then bladeforums?
I've read and drooled over pictures. Even picked one up at a store, but it still surprised me what a brick this thing is. I think I read a comment on here where an owner was talking about SD with this knife and he said you could just throw it at them. I believe. I like big folders and this was just what I wanted. I'm pretty new to the AXIS lock but I like it a lot. I did have a few questions though. This is a big thick blade and it just slides out like butter with the click make that silent click. Because of the weight of the blade will the lock fail due to repeated openings over time? Was the lock built with more beef because of the blade weight?
Like I said, I'm pretty new to this axis lock but my 806 took a good beating. I love this knife though.
