. I just got my Military in the mail today. I was going to wait until I got my Wegner to post my feelings on Spyderco, but I just couldn't wait

. I put it up beside my AFCK, no comparison. Don't get me wrong, I still love my AFCK, and the overall profile is a bit nicer IMHO, but damn, that Military is twice the knife. I am dying to find out how the steel holds up compared to my M-2, it's the 440V plain edge model. I am really looking forward to getting my Wegner now and also to maybe picking up a few more Spydies before it's all said and done.

P.S. There isn't a full serrated 440V Military out there that someone would want to trade me is there? I would want it in an unused condition, but completely NIB isn't necessary. I have a nice array of Benchmades

to choose from and one Microtech left that we might be able to work with. I might even consider a trade on the Wegner, but I'll have to see when it comes in around the first of next week.

I would be surprised if you want to trade the Wegner once you get it.

The Wegner is one awesome knife. I like the Military, but I like the feel of the Wegner better.

The military should serve you well for a long time.

Good call on the Military and the Wegner. Two of the finest knives anywhere at any price, IMHO.

Anybody know if I can flip the clip around on the Wegner to make it tip down? I just got mine today, but I haven't had a chance to look at it as it's at my house and i'm at school. I absolutely hate tip up, ditched both my LCC's because of it. If I can't switch it, then it'll most likely be up for trade in a couple days after I have a chance to look it over a bit to see if I can have it modified to my liking.

I am staring at the Wegner, it's nice. I played with it a bit, it's sweet. Stared some more, don't want to try to move the clip. Gonna have to put it up for trading fodder. Y'all get the first shot at it on here. Whenever I get around to it, I'm gonna revise my for sale/trade post it's going on there.
