For the sake of your financial security and peace of mind, don't go look on E-Bay for the next few days. Wish I hadn't. Now I won't be able to sleep. :(

Too late, I took a look a few hours ago :D

The harpoon V, and nuclear heart in particular are gorgeous knives!

....I'm sure there was a desert mofo there before though...

If these are the overflow of a recent purchase, I'd love to see the rest of that collection! Hey Mike, are you trying to keep the bidding low by telling us NOT to go check eBay? Ah, very sly.

Too late Mike! I am dying over here!!!!! Must resist!!!!!!!

They are starting at $650, not sure how much higher they would go.

Well the chatter over here raised the opening bids... when I first saw them they were 475.00 opening bid and he's changed the desert mofo to some desert variant

With a mini-EU an a FUSION-HOSH, those aren't that tempting to me.
It'll be a couple more month before I get really hungry again.

Hi,
Thanks for the good remarks and glad you like the knives.

I did raise the price but maybe that was a tactical error. I'm looking to get what I put into 'em plus ebay fee (Maybe I went a little high on the price, I just checked and listing fees totalled only $7--but I think they tag on another chunk when it sells and Paypal, if used, get's their share). All in all, I'm guessing ebay and paypal get 8 to 11 percent of the total selling price, is that your experience?

So I raised the prices up to what the collector I got 'em from paid. Actually, I was looking for a little less than these numbers, 'cause he very fair in the deal to me. And I don't want to gouge anyone on prices. I'd be happy to share these numbers with you in an email--I just don't want to turn this into a "selling" or marketing post (lake2zone@yahoo.com).

So, your right, I did raise the prices, revising the listing not long after posting. I don't expect or want 'em to go any higher than they are. Maybe I ought to drop 'me a bit, to get things started--I just would like to get my cost plus selling fees.

As for the mention of a Desert Mofo, yep--I listed one too, and ended the auction early--a few hours after listing. I just got "chicken"/cold feet at the last minute to part with it. The knives just got here and I haven't had 'em very long and didn't want to make a hasty call that I might regret !!! (I think I unwrapped the package on Thur). I really like the the mojo, mejo, mofo knives and these make up the rest of the group. The desert mofo just goes with the other three, is my thinking. But I'm kind a "on the fence" about keeping it or not.

I appreciate the time and interest you showed. Seems like these might be special additions to an exisiting collection. As for the rest of you guys who are waiting on the "new releases," I sure understand! How do I get in line for one of those 5/16" wide, 10" blade FBM? Do I check the company store website a few times a week? Thanks,
Mike

The FBMs haven't been put up for order yet, it will be awhile it looks like, you'll have a chance to get one once they come up for ordering on the Busse Combat website.

Thanks Randucci, hope I'm not snoozing when they are first offered! I'll keep watch a few times a week!! I noticed a couple/few weeks ago the FSH pictures first appeared on the company store website. I didn't notice if they were listed on the "order" page as avaible, if so--I missed 'em. If that's the case, how fast did they "sell out?"

And BTW--appreciate all the tips and help! Busses Rock!! :-)))) Mike

p.s. Hey T., did you get back from "down under?" Thnx for the suggestions and help on the Busses and the Inficoot! Stay well!! m

No money at the moment (just bought a new computer). Not going to look on ebay … but I can’t stop thinking about looking.
