Having a sharp edge on a Khukri REALLY makes a difference in chopping!

I finally got around to sharpening my BAS. I was going to try the mouse-pad technique, but I found some fine grit sanding sponges at Lowes yesterday, so I used those instead.
Put a really nice edge on it in just a few minutes.
Very impressed with the results.

When I do serious wood chopping a sharp blade makes a difference, but a too thin 'wicked sharp' blade disapears and a dull edge is left.

I put a pretty wide edge on it for that very reason. It won't shave, but it cuts like a champ!
