First of all....Thanks Amy!

I just got my ASH1LE #33 and WOWWW!!!! It is just awesome. I love everything about it. Just PERFECT! Jerry really hit a home run with this one :thumbup: Any busse fan who doesn't own a ASH1LE should reconsider.

I normally am not too crazy about the ASH1s, especially the fatter versions... But the ASH1LE is just too cool :thumbup::thumbup: This ASH1LE really hit a sweet spot for me.

The only way to slightly improve it is to put a nice wicked convexed zero edge :D

hehehe.... that is #79 from the cupidganza :D And yes, it is very light and super fast. More like a fighter than chopper.
 
I don't have an LE, but I have an SE (good because I don't like mags) which I really like. IMO the thinner ASHs woulda been damn near perfect with a full convex grind (but i guess I'll have to wait for the SARSquatch for that)

I too normally do not like mags. But the mags on the ASH1LE feels just right for me. I think the slightly thicker swells and the thinner blade is what did it for me. YMMV. You may not have to wait for the SAR to get the full convex. I heard through the grapevine that something is in the works.

That SHSH looks cool and feels pretty good. But nowhere near as comfy as the ASH1LE.
 
Nice steel! :thumbup: I don't have a custom shop model yet but I want one! The more I see, the more I'm tempted.
