I went by a local gun shop today and they had a PE and a SE VG-10 SPOT. I took a look at both and WOW!

I am going to have to get one. They are freaking amaizing! I have never held a knife that melded so well with my hand.

After seeing pictures about this knife for months I have been uninterested. I thought it was ugly and that a knife around your neck just isnt a good idea.
I have changed my mind... I need one.

I just thought I would rave about the knife outing I had today.
 
I have been "meaning" to pick one up for many months, now I guess I better before its too late!!

Are both Models being discontinued or just one?

Also, since this was Spydercos initial foray into Neck Knives, will there be a replacement model coming out?? Has anyone heard or seen one at a Show?
 
From what I understand, the SPOT models are being totally discontinued. I tried to get a poll going to get Sal to think about a longer bladed version, and he seemed interested, but not enough other people chimed in I guess. It's sad, really. The SPOT is one of the most versatile and comfortable knives I own.
