WP7V steel?

Howdy,
Looks like you already have the data sheet for this alloy.

What other information were you wanting?

Based on the composition and heat treat recommendations, it looks like it would be a pretty good alloy for a large tough blade that will still hold an edge well.
 
although this alloy has lots of van. carbon is only .5% - i.m.o. carbon levels this low usually work best in high impact tools {choppers] edge durability would at best be average. once again i mention steel charts do'nt always predict results in real life
