Was watching PCN-TV tonight (PA tv channel), they had a factory tour of WR Case, showing their manufacturing process. Interesting stuff actually.

They mentioned you can buy the dvd from their site (I'm not affiliated). Worth a look.

WR CASE & SONS CUTLERY

!WARNING: POLITICAL CONTENT AHEAD!

I especially liked how they at the end made sure to mention they only hire workers who are legally able to work in America. Something I had come to expect to be a huge marketing faux pas, considering the "ethnic diversity" on tv and in commercials.

Illegal workers are a big problem in the area I live in, and since I'm a legal alien in this country it annoys me even more to see scum hired by scum, considering what I had to go through to be here (read: everything but being probed).

So give these nice folks some business, that sort of integrity is after all what will save the American economy. I plan on getting a knife from them for my father in law's upcoming birthday.

The TV show "How It's Made" also filmed this short segment on pocketknives in the Case Factory...

o awesome. I was just watching that show and was wondering if they had a blade episode. That was great

Awesome clip, thanks :-)

The show I originally posted is quite a bit longer and you are taken through the facility by their Marketing Director.

Don't own any case knives , though this may change as my tastes often do but I am definitely in agreement with their hiring policies

IOW, misery loves company.

Integrity won't save the American economy. Being able to operate freely with minimal government intervention will. That includes being able to hire the best people without the government getting in the way. Giving these nice folks business for any reason other than good products is welfare. Giving the government the authority to decide who is good enough to work is socialism.
