Have an old 307 - any idea when it would have been made, and what steel Buck would have been using then?

Hello cook! (Some of my best friends have been cooks!) :D

Can you post a pic or a scan of it, showing any blade markings???

At the very least, a thorough verbal description... ;) :thumbup:

Hello Cook,
Welcome to the forums!
We can help with that 307. Can you tell me how it is stamped?
Take care,

Just picked up 2 of them at a gun show a couple weeks ago, NIB. Both stamped Buck 307 U.S.A. and the box labels have B307-00-0. I assumed they were 2000 models, is that correct?

Till Joe gets back to you I will wade in. 307's are out of production. Ended when Buck began production of there 300's. Ended about 1998. All models should have long nail nic. There are three 'standard' models to collect for the series, Tang stamped Made in USA after model number, Buck 307 USA and one with Buck 307 USA with BUCK replacing the normal knife and bolt shield.
Mint in Boxs are around, prices not out of site, say like mint 313's. Geez someone paid over 100 bucks for one on Ebay. Glad I have three...:-}
