Gday guys and gals, I recently got a few wrangler knives after first getting one of their peanuts and am pretty happy with them so thought it would be good to share some pics with you of the peanut pattern that got me interested in their knives.
The knife has had a bit of use and is still sharp enough to shave hair, it's a chunky little monkey and is pretty well built IMO (which is questionable perhaps :D).
As you can see by the pics FF is not bad and even the inside has been polished up. The blade is marked 440 but doesn't specify what type, the knife is made in China.
I love it!

Congrats on finding a winner! I'd say the pattern looks more like a saddlehorn trapper, but if the size is under 3" closed, they may have called it a peanut.

It is advertised as a peanut - and I forgot to mention it is 2 1/2" long. Out of interest what defines a peanut?

interesting "peanupper" (peanut trapper)
looks sharp with high edge, THICK handles...looks crazy!

seen some on the bay, little money too

good score

fit and finish looks pretty good, the only deal breaker for me (this is a pet peeve of mine) is the coin shield...it just irks me lol but I'm tempted to look past that just to try one out!

"Peanut" is a name originally coined by Case enthusiasts for the small (2 7/8") 2 blade Dogleg Jack. It now is used for any DL Jack 3" or less.

That's a good looking knife there! I like the fat handles.

I just returned yesterday from a vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains and I saw some of those Wrangler knives at a popular knife store in the area. I just looked at them in the display case but after seeing your photos of the thickness I wish I would have handled one or two of them.

A fine looking knife indeed!
