Like many, I spent less than $20 on a Buck 143 Paklite skeleton fb from WallyWorld. It was a 'deal'. I bought three - wrapped one's handle - wasn't sure about the reults - and gave it to one son for his BOB - another son got a knife and some 550 Paracord to wrap his own - mine just went in the drawer. Skip ahead to Benchmade's new 275 Adamas folder - and it's 375 skeletonized handle fb variant. The Benchmade site had a lead to a YouTube wrap of their fb - and I tried it - on my Buck 143:
It takes a tug, but the snap lock will secure the wrapped handle. You'll find the video instructions' lead on the Benchmade.com/275 site. Actually comfortable - and, better than the 375 Adamas in several ways - price (That BM is MSRP $140!), stainless steel (420HC vs D2), and availability... WallyWorld vs they aren't available anywhere yet! Good BOB knife... and you always have five or six feet of 550 Paracord, if you need it...
