hey everybody
this is an order i just finished. it was based off of a picture sent to me.
it was a first in several ways, first i have never tied a turks head knot before, and it shows, but you have to start somewhere. secorn i have never done this style polish with the kissaki. now i messed it up in the fact that there isnt an actual BEVEL there.. as i am sure there is supposed to be.. but i couldnt figure out how to get it there..
so how do you get the bevel for the kissaki? is it ground in? forged in?
anyway.. here are the specs
11.25" OAL
6.5" blade
1095 flat ground zero edge
Clay treated, Parks 50 quench
Rayskin and silk ito handle w/Menuki
resin soaked paracord Turk's head knot
i am going to try and get a video of me cutting with this knife.. it is SO sharp. holding the knife with two fingers it will cleanly cut a peice of paper in half.
thanks for looking!
