So I did this. I like it, holds about 5.5 ft of cord, and is easy to untie. Just untie the top, and pull the ends. Might have to alternate. I don't really remember. I wrapped it a whole 6 hours ago. More important things going on in my head to remember that. Bottom line is it's easy to untie. If I need to.
Also it doesn't get in the way of the bottle opener.

Course, I'm going to have to go back and clean it up at some point now that I know how to tie it. I kind of just sat down and made it up. Wondering if anybody has seen a wrap like it.

In a feeble attempt to get more photos in this thread, post your BK11, 14, 24 handle wrap jobs.

14's not wrapped anymore, but here's when it was:

Nice guys!
I'm probably going to end up playing with and rewrapping my 14 here soon. Here is what it is at the moment, only with a bit of a more worn look. I might go a little crazy and try and wrap the BK2 as well....

Just got my 11 on Tuesday and wrapped it yesterday:

Pretty basic wrap.
The little loop by the bottle opener has just enough room for my pinkie finger to pass through and allows for just a bit more leverage if need be...in theory anyway.
Haven't had a chance to test it out in real life yet...we'll see...

The BK11's wrap is so nice, I'm still working on wrapping mine, but I am not good at it -.- And since I am not good at it, boyfriend wrapped my 14 for me...and by boyfriend, I mean dynamicmoves.

Here's my temporary wrap. Looking around for materials to make scales with. The wrap is bank line that I twisted together, wrapped around a hank of jutte twine for tinder purpouses. I like the feeling of the bare metal in my "fore-grip". Having the large grip in my palm and a small fore-grip is quite comfortable.

Damn, some really nice wraps in here. My first wrap was pretty crappy, and I gave up after getting the zytel scales for my 14 :D. Good on you guys ;)

So let me know if this is too weird and crazy to follow.

This makes this. To wrap like my first photo, reverse the way you loop loops through loops. Uhh...

This should be about the halfway point.

Pinch the back end of the cord and pass it through the hole.

Pinch the front end of the cord and pass it through the loop you made. Then pull on the back end and pull it tight.

Wrap the second loop around the top of the handle, and in this picture I have turned the knife around.

Make a loop again, pass it through the second loop.

Wrap the third loop around the bottom of the handle.

From here, it follows the same pattern. At the end, do whatever you want to tie it off. I'll finish rewrapping this and post some pictures of what I do to finish it.

Edit: I got bored about halfway through wrapping it like this. I'm going to play around with it now.

Edit2: Looking at my first wrap, it is very possible I wrapped around the bottom instead of the top first.

Some great looking wraps here fella's!
This is the one that felt the best to me:

That was before I put the factory micarta on.
The micarta is was a real game changer.
It turned my BK11 into perfection! Lol

The only handle wrap I've ever done and ever will do. I'm actually embarrassed about this one. Don't get me wrong, I think there are some awesome wraps in this sub, however, they are not really my forte. This lasted about a week, then I thought it was.....stupid, IMO. Perhaps if I would have tried a different weave......

oh well, its moot at this point. I upgraded to micarta and gave the 11 to the wife who can appreciate it more than I.

I guess part of the reason I dont get micarta is that when I show people my Becker, I can say it's a 30 dollar knife instead of it's a 30 dollar knife with 30 dollar scales.

That and I like rope.

I hear ya man.
I think the BK11 is the best valued fixed blade out there.
There are so many cool looking wraps to do to.

Honestly, I probably would have never tried the micarta had I not got a deal on mine at a gun show.
I've since learned that it's worth the price. For me anyway. It really transformed the 11.
I've got it on most of my large Beckers now too.

Here's my 11 when I first got it.
I used the insides of the cord that came with it.

Nice job dynamic.

I Used to have my 14 wrapped. It's not like this anymore. Also had one of my 11's wrapped for awhile but can't find a pic.

With you on both counts. Maybe I should wrap one of my tweeners.....
