Wrapping Paracord

Do you guys wrap it when the paracord is wet so it is extra tight when it dries? Another thing i was worried about was the 2 little spots in the ring of the izula that arent coated, do you guys cover it in oil or put a vinegar patina on it before wrapping to prevent corrosion?

i didn't coat my serial # in any way before wrapping my izula, about 2 months ago, and as of 2 weeks ago when i re-wrapped it, it was still pristine.


oh, and i don't wet the cord first.

Yeah, I just re-wrapped my Izula and when I wrapped it the first time I didnt coat the serial number in any way, it was also pristine. That didnt stop me from shooting a little Rem-Oil on there before I re-wrapped it though. Oh and I dont wet the chord either, as long as you wrap it tight it sure seems to be fine.

I don't use it wet because it's a carbon steel. Just dry and tight.
