just letting anyone who sent me an email or anything over the past few weeks that I got hit by someone near my house ( at the bottom of my hill where the house sits ) basically long story short I broke my left leg in two places and got a major concussion followed by a serious infection in that kept me in hospital for the past 2 weeks and change.

so I will get back to anyone who sent me an email, but it is going to take me some time as nobody took care of my stuff while I was gone , and I was pretty unconcerned with anything there for a little over a week, just got home yesterday and only now got on computer.( tried too last night but pain pills made me give up and go to sleep)

I am fine now, if a little irritated at the people who live near me and cant slow down when going over hill tops

I will be around but def not as much until I get everything sorted -- everything is a mess and none of my bills are paid :(

good to be back though, glad to see everything is trucking right along here :D

Sorry to hear about that man. I've been really trying to focus on keeping my left leg down to empty clutch pedal space while driving so it will be out of the path of the steering wheel should I get in a wreck, Don't want to be an amputee.

Sorry to hear someone got smashed up, glad you still have your leg

Wow! Sorry to hear it. I hope you are recovering well. It takes time, so don't get discouraged (easy for me to say).

If i can help from mid state GA give me a holler, otherwise you certainly are on prayer list...my favorite sheath maker lost a fight with his concrete steps and racked up similar injuries and am calling him Sir Hobble for now....take care...

yeah it is no joke, never really been injured this bad, so its very strange for me -- but I am healing quick now that infection is done trying to murder me, appreciate well wishes , really happy to be here in the world, and on blade forums :D , my leg is fixed but wired up and will take a long time to get right, will probably never be right considering how it got dented then the infection.

but yeah really appreciate you guys and missed being able to come here and look at stuff and shoot the breeze -- HI for life

That's one of the biggest problems with hospitals - that's where all of the really nasty infectious bugs are. Glad to hear that neither the vehicle nor the bugs could keep you down. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Have been stove in several times working for Uncle as well as private....not good as new but could be better than i am now only getting older and lazier, but still can squeeze into class As, with a limp or not, and can still do all outdoors activities as desired even if it takes a little more time.....which is good and saves stupid....take rehab serious and only do not push to damage and you will be better than expected...and we here are pushing for you as well and we can meet for a 10k sooner than you think.

Heal up fast! That sounds like a terrible experience, and the sooner it stops hurting, the better. You don't need to work out like you're going for the Olympics, but a couple sessions a day of physical therapy-style exercise will do it a lot of good. Keeps up circulation and the muscles won't atrophy.
