This one went out to a patient customer this past weekend.

18" overall length Wrecker model (pry spike) with a sharpened inner beard. Black Durabake coating and Micarta with flared stainless steel flared tube rivets on 1/4" 4140 steel.

He is one of the first customers to receive a sheath from me, something that delayed me starting to work on orders by probably at least a month while I built the tooling to make them and tried it out, working out the little tricks inherent in any process.

It's Kydex, bottom eject, ambidextrous, MOLLE compatible, jump ready, with multiple carry options.

This particular one was ordered with optional second retention strap, quick-detach double adjustable shoulder strap, and MOLLE locks.

Hope it serves him well, and I appreciate him sticking with me while I got everything off the ground. :)

Great Looking Sheaths
Look forward to the Vid!
Could you include a video of the the sheaths in use?

Hey guys, I'm the proud owner of the posted hawk and wanted to give some feedback. First, the fit and finish on this hawk was great. It was clear that James put some time into it and it talented with his production and grind. It is well balanced and has a nice feel in the hand with secure grip. It's a great hawk AND it's a great hawk for the money. I have wanted an RMJ forge for quite some time until I met James and am happy with my decision.

The kydex also is well done and I was very impressed how well it's made as he has just worked this out. The flare on the bottom of the kydex is key. It allows for easy replacement of the hawk. He told me I likely wouldn't need the second retention strap and I agree it's overkill unless you're a paratrooper. I really like the sling set up, especially for the longer handle model.

James was great to work with, excellent communication and I'm glad to give him my business, recommend him without hesitation. I haven't field tested this baby yet but am looking forward to it :devilish::devilish:

Bigjuice - Good deal! I, too, look forward to the field test. :)

Delivery D - I put the sheath-making video up in another thread (it's mentioned in the thread title). I do plan on having a video showing the various carry setups for the 'hawks, as well as one talking about the trainers and one with the 'hawks themselves being put through their paces.
