Write a Knife Haiku

Sharp as a razor
Cardboard doesn't fair so well
This stays sharp forever!!

The sun rises a tired soul
Long days tire the body and mind
Like his steel, he keeps his edge
 
I have lots of knives
They are kind of sharp and stuff
Refrigerator

btw, haiku are/were generally 5-7-5 syllables, sorta. how's that for definitive.
 
I go by 5-7-5 words but syllables may be right.

lol, it's kinda loose, because it is 5-7-5 in Japanese, but not always, and it isn't exactly syllables - double letters or the N sound count as extra, and sometimes a Japanese word that has two syllables is only one on. the wikipedia entry has more info, but yeah, not much to get concerned about. I just really like using 5-7-5 as an excuse to always end in refrigerator.
