Writing About HI, And Going Other Places

Last night I signed up for another forum. I'm a member of a couple gun forums, a couple more blade forums, a Ruger forum, even a bike forum.

Most my friends were there, as many of you already know. I was maybe the last one to sign.

Just thought I'd mention it. It's good to have different neighborhoods to spend time with friends.
I'll always be writing about HI forum though, and a member of wherever forum Yangdu lives. I'll be writing about HI stuff even if Yangdu is touring the States in a 89 Dodge van, selling khuks from the back doors in campgrounds, Flea Markets and rest stops.


Yes, I'll be writing about HI as long as there are quality khuks that Yangdu wants to sell, Kamis who want to make them, friends who want to talk, and a world where the 41 mag is still alive and Life Still Cheap Out on the Brazos.

Well said. :D Shoot, I write for 5 forums, and I bought a khukuri last Thursday- which came today. ;) Some things never change.

I lurk several forums but pretty much confine my active participation to two.
 
I try to see the knife forums, and the survival ones too.
 
Sounds good, Munk. I mostly post on this board, but I visit other. Heck, I mod a video game clan forum. There is room for all.

Diversity is a wonderful thing...the only downside I've found is it takes so long to hit all the forums I'm interested in. That's why my posting here has fallen off...I just don't have the time to post everywhere.
But everyday I make sure to stop in and see what's happening HERE.:D
 
I am an admin for a martial arts site and a mod on another. I have my own Taosits forum, I am very active on two other knife forums.

I use to spend a lot of time on the HI forum (every day sometimes several times a day) and here on blade in the Buck forum, though now its become so rude here and with all the rules and attitudes I find myself spending a lot more time on the other forums and sending referals to them.

I think thats happeining with a lot of people at least several people I know have said the same things and I have found there are threads running on other forums saying it to.

I can see spreading out interest in different types of forums but now its like you almost have to go to other knife forums

I have seen HI getting brought up more on other forums now much more than say a year or two ago.

I'm going with faith on HI. I'm standing down. I got it into my head I had to 'fix' something, but the harder I tried, the worse, or just plain nothing, would happen. The number two things Nasty wants around here are gentlemanly behavior, and no spamming. He's got my support. I've wanted all of us just to talk the way we used to. I think that's here, right under our noses, if we'd look at it right? It's still the best forum in BF.

I'm going to write my stories. That has always been the number one way I give back to friends and forums and this larger society. I do this because I'm clumsy at so many other things. I want to take a step back, a breath or 16, and let HI forum do what it does best.

Well on the other hand I see HI being talked about on other forums as I said (by people other than me)Maybe the HI friends have made it broader than just here. I think thats a good thing.

as for your stories I think they would do well on any forum
 
All I know is we're nothing without friends. I'd be lynched some dark night without friends.
And it's people like you who make this place.
