Written text mis-communications

I've noticed a lot of things can be taken the wrong way in the written word.That's why we have these wonderful emoticons/smilies:foot:

I have a habit of writing "forget it",in threads that means "nevermind,changed my mind...etc.",to me anyway.

"Forget it" can be taken in a negative fashion as I know now from some,rather "not so nice" emails I got.


Post some experiences where your post was taken totally out of context.

I have found through experience that subtle humor on-line is most often going to be mis-interpreted and taken deadly seriously by someone.
