DUBAI (Reuters) - [size=-1] An Iraqi militant group said it had killed 12 Nepali hostages and showed pictures of the killings on an Islamist Web site on Tuesday. [/size]

[size=-1]We have carried out the sentence of God against 12 Nepalis who came from their country to fight the Muslims and to serve the Jews and the Christians ... believing in Buddhah as their God," the statement by the military committee of the Army of Ansar al-Sunna said. [/size]

[size=-1]The group posted a series of pictures showing two masked men, one in camouflage, holding down a hostage. The men then appeared to slit his throat and hold his severed head aloft. [/size]

[size=-1]Others pictures showed a group of men lying face-down, with what appeared to be bullet wounds in their back. [/size]

[size=-1]The Nepalis were taken hostage earlier this month as they entered Iraq (news - web sites) to work as cooks and cleaners for a Jordanian company. The Ansar al-Sunna said it had kidnapped them because they were cooperating with U.S. troops in Iraq. [/size]

[size=-1]Militants have waged a campaign of kidnapping in Iraq aimed at driving out companies, individuals and troops supporting U.S. forces and the new Iraqi interim government.

Supposedly, the Nepalese government decided against sending Ghurkha troops to Iraq as per the request of the United States. Perhaps now they will... In any event, it's strange that the assassination of these 12 Nepalese went largely unheralded; thanks for the input, kronckew!
 
Besides the fact that they are in Iraq, I guess that the fact that the Nepalis are probably Hindus weighs against them with the Islamic fundamentalists.

An Islamic friend of mine was going on to me a couple of months ago about all the trade India and Israel do with each other and he was alluding that the Hindus and Jews were conspiring against the Muslims. So there's apparently a lot of animosity against them too.

It's really strange. My friend who is a black born in the US citizen was one of the few Islamic people in this area years ago and helped build the mosque we have here. He has always been really laid back. But as more Arabs have immigrated and filled up the mosque I notice that he has moved to the right politically, I mean Muslim right. It's interesting because while he is moving more to the more radical arab view most of the Arabs that go there consider black muslims kind of second class citizens in the religion. Seems like there is a little racisim there that only Arabs can be true muslims.

Did you hear about the journalists being held and the hostage takers trying to use them to get the French head scarf ban lifted?

It won't be long before the terrorists have pissed off every country and they have no place to hide.
 
It has always been said to never lower yourself to someone's level of a lesser position. This is the case where lowering one's self to the enemy level of butchery is justified. In Vietnam the Turkish and Australian forces were well note by the Viet Kong for their nasty nature in fight back against a brutal enemy, therefore they left them alone.
This enemy is based on ignorance, religious oppression and bias of a caliber that cannot be quantified. So if bloody butchery is what they want then round them up and let's place their heads on pikes like the Turkish did in Europe. Sounds un-Christian like but we are dealing with an Evil that knows no boundaries and less about honor or justice.
Just my view on the matter of dealing with these scum sucking Islamic morons.

I don't think religion has much to do with it. Blacks are considered inferior everywhere. Even in Brazil, which is the epitome of integration, Blacks are considered inferior to those of European descent. Some of this prejudice is due to the slave history of the race, but I think it is mostly a deep seated human bias based on what I am not sure.
 
There are some that believe the black race is inferior because they are the decendants of Cain, who murdered his brother Able. Add to that the slave thing, and you have many centuries of prejudice.
 
At some point those you would otherwise consider as human turn themselves into rabid dogs. When they've passed that point it seems reasonable to me to shoot them on sight and before they get close enough to endanger you and yours.
