Stan my young dog managed to bail up and down a Wallaby this morning, normally they are way too fast and smart for Stan. This one made the fatal mistake of getting caught between the boundary fence and the dam in my horse paddock.

It’s just a small doe.

As for the heading, I had thought that I’d walked down with my Tan Howler, only to find when I arrived I had a Coot.

Well I wasn’t walking back again. The Coot was perfect for taking the two legs, tail and back straps.

A few pictures.

Here’s the culprit feeling very pleased with himself. :D He is supposed to be taking it easy as he had a small operation removing a lump on his back leg last Friday.

Ian....Stan looks like he is trouble waiting to happen!!!In that mischievious big dog, still a pup kind of way ;) .He is a great looking fellow....

I might slide a little off topic for a bit here but you might want to be careful about feeding raw roo to dogs. I believe they can carry hydatids and suchlike nasties which you don't really want your dog eating up.

Friend of mine used to keep a 44 on a stand over a fire and he'd half fill it with water, get it boiling and chuck chunks of roo in there for the dogs.
