Just finished up this San-Mai Cleaver.

Wagon Wheel Wrought iron and 80Crv2 blade.

Desert Ironwood handle w/ SS hardware.

I've never been much of a Cleaver Guy, but I'd say this is really Cool functional art.

As you say, it's certainly not the most functional design, but it's what the customer wanted. And overall, it's quite a fun knife, with a very unique look.
