You're right! I was thinking the same thing when I first saw this sweetheart

I like that layered look. You can almost see the old blacksmith forge welding in a coal fire. Just something romatically historical about wrought iron.

Though wrought iron is fairly soft and can be marked up pretty easily, it is still one of my favorite materials for knife hardware.

Try to sand a scratch out of it sometime and then tell me how soft it is!
