Wrought Iron/Nickel San Mai Chopper - MAKE OVER!

This one is 14.5" OAL, with wrought iron/pure nickel/1080 san mai blade. The ferrule is W1 cold blued. Copper spacer and giant, peened copper rivet. East Indian rosewood handle.

I really like what you are doing with your wrought iron laminated blades.

I'm gonna be posting an updated photo later. I decided to do a make-over. Something just wasn't sitting well.
 
I decided I wasn't done with this knife. So I narrowed down the handle, made the ferrule more stream-lined and did some carving on it.

I'm happier now...

Great job on the blade. That isn't very easy to keep the core centered is it? I hope you are charging double for all the hassle.

Yeah counting hammer blows isn't easy for someone like me to stay focused on. But... the press is almost complete.
