Hi everyone,

Here are a couple of neckers I finished up last week, but just got around to taking pictures of. They are Wrought Iron I got from Mike Turner, and 1084. This was my first time working with W.I, and I was amazed at how soft this stuff is! It is literally like forging modeling clay.

Anyway, here they are.

I can't remeber what type of wood that is on them, it was some that has been on my handle material shelf for about a year. Well, what do you think? Comment welcome!

Looks like you got everything to stick together....nice looking steel....nice size neckers. :)

Thanks Dawkind,

I forged one big billet to make both of those out of so all it was no problem getting the wrought to weld. I was actually suprised at how easy it is to work with, the only thing I didn't like about it was that I had a time getting my makers mark to etch good enough. I melted through one stencil by getting impatient. :)
