My son and I pickup 10 links of chain for $150. Each links weights 16.5#. Now the dude at the boatyard has a 90' section that he is working up a prices for me. It's a smaller chain around 10# a link. Now if any of you want to get in on this deal once he shoots me a price let me know.
Like the links I got yesterday came out to $15 a links and just under $1.00 a#.
I going to get the 90' section no matter what and well be selling billets.
Now if you want to get in on the 90' I'll give it to you guys at the same price that I get it for. This is a one shot deal.

IG,
I'd like to get in on some billets when you get them done. Thanks,

Ryan

I'll be posting them in the for sale section once we get them done. It will be good practice for my son on the press, You remember how Bertha treated you when you were here. HEHEHEHE!!!!

Yeah, she kicked my ass pretty bad. I probably hadn't had enough to drink. I'm sticking with a hammer for now!

IG, could you press out a little of it, and hit it with some ferric chloride to see what the pattern looks like? If it meets your expectations then I'm in for some. I still have this other big link here in the shop, don't have the heart to cut it all up, so It's just like the day you sent it to me.

Robert, Robert, Robert!!!! If I send you more down it is going to end up just like the other links, please who are you trying to kid?????? :p The best bet for you is to let me press you out a billet. That way you will not have to second guess yourself upon using it. HEHEHEHE!!!! ;) ;)

Ok ok ok, press me out a billet. But I also want about 6 or 8 links (connected together). I'm building a Mesquite boat IG, because of the next world flood, and now I'm at the point that I need brakes. :D

OK, lets me see what the dude will be asking. I got to making him up some new blades for his chain cutting press so I told him one hand washes the other. He said that he will treat me right.

Huh? I'm totally lost on that one! No, I don't believe I need any blades, but I SO appreciate the kind offer of free knives. :D

I am sorry I forgot where you live. The hot weather down there makes you guys slow.HEHEHEHEHEHE!!!
I still haven't got the $$$ on the 90' length. Now is it comes out over $2.00 a pound I may not get it and keep looking around. It would work out around $20.00 a link.
The blades I was talking about are for the dudes chain cutting press. :D
