Wry humour

Not necessarily subtle . When it is used with subtlety I seem to enjoy it more . Poetry, acting and everday conversation that utilises it brings me to a heightened degree of attentiveness . It usually indicates to me someone of interest . Someone I could learn from .

Randy Quaid hardly a person known for his obvious wit displayed to me a touch of what I speak with just one complex display of expression on his face . A kind of " I would be offended by you if I wasn,t so amused by life." A kind of puffing out of his lips as if to blow the offending thought away from him and ending up with a wry grin .
