Here is a Ring-guard I just completed. Blade is W's in a staggered pattern. Some times you get lucky and that's how I feel getting this cut of fossil walrus ivory. Knew I had to do it justice and I hope you think I did. Blade length is 5 5/8 inches and overall is 10 3/4 inches. Hair under 1/4 inch thick blade at guard with distal taper to tip. All Damascus fittings except the pin which is nickel silver. Very comfortable in the hand with the end the way it is. Just fits right in the palm. Steel is 1080 and 15n20. Thanks for looking.

PS: I have knifemakers hands, hard to clean.

Thanks Steve. It was a fun to build. I like ring guards and the challenge they provide.

Excelent piece Dan. How can you tell when Dan has been eating fried chicken?

His fingers are clean. BAHAHAHA

Just pokin' fun ol' buddy.
