OK, I have been checking the WS&S lately and find most people here are familiar with the WSK by Mr. Beck.
Here's the Q....can you still get them custom made??? Or do I have to look on the secondary market??? I appreciate all help/info.
Also, if the Beck is no longer an option, how is the TOPS version. I know this topic has been done to death so I appologize. I am only interested in the WSK/Tracker knife design.
How they perform and price would be nice to know too, although I am bound and determined to try this style blade out for myself. Take Care and thanks in advance:)
 
Have you done a search of this forum yet? I have read many detailed strings concerning both knives, pricing, performance, etc.

Someone just e-mailed me a couple of weeks ago about a nice Beck WSK for sale. I apologize to both of you, but cannot remember who that was.

Anyway, there is much information here on that style of knife. If you acquire one let us wannabe owners know how it goes.

Wow this topic must have really been beaten to death more so than I thought no one even chimed in other than Terry.
I have searched the forum but the search turned up a non responsive address. Ah well...the TOPS it is.

That is Mr Becks correct and current email. Here is an email I recieved from him last month.



"Thank you for your inquiry. After I shut my site down there has been quite a stir by folks who have been wondering what is going on. I am still in business but am only moving a nit slower these days. Due to my production level I could not justify the web site as it has been generating far more work than I can handle. I will still continue making knives as always & if my condition improves in the future you can bet my site will return if I am able to once again go back to full time knifemaking. In the meantime you may certainly pass on my contact info if you'd like. I know there are many who would still like to contact me.
As for ordering knives, I am still working as I'm able to fill orders. It's a very slow process because I can only devote a few hours a week in my shop but I fully intend to fill all my requests as soon as I can.
