This is a fire mission for all the WSS Braintrust.

My wife is taking a class and part of the final grade requires that she design a museum. There is a paper which she will have to write explaining the purpose and layout etc. The final part and where we need your help, is to show supplementary material which adds substance to the project.

We have chosen to design a museum on the evolution of knives throughout history. Yes, it was her idea. (mainly because she new I'd be interested to help her more. LOL) Anyway, we need photos of knives such as flint napped, bone, early bronze, iron age, and modern materials in action. We will put these in a power point presentation and create the museum for the class. (Please don't use a Roman era short sword to hack down a limb for the photo. Replicas, or home made versions would be cool though)

Since this is a class project, if you post a picture in this thread, you have provided your permission for us to use it for this project. We will provide an MLA works cited for your donation. Thank you very much.

The "in use" part of this is very important. I can here because of the absolute mountain of material I have been able to locate on various topics. I'm sure that you folks will have a great time showing off your cool tools.

Thanks in advance. We really appreciate any help you folks could offer.

very nice idea.

what is the college's position on pictures used in class projects?

many colleges/universities etc maintain that any images used in student projects give the college unlimited copyright over said images.

i'm a professional photographer, so i need to ask.

I have no idea how to verify that with certainty.
I would say that if you are worried about it, don't post anything. That sucks for us, but it is your material. Thanks for asking though.

I did not make anything in these pics, I just took the pictures.

They were made by a talented fella named Garrick
