Hello everyone, anybody got a good place to buy a Century Wave bag {heavy}? The Wave bag is the water filled one.
I've used these before and have had really good results.

Also what is the best method for hanging a heavy bag? I was planning to dig a hole and putting an L shaped post in, then filling with concrete. I don't want to hang it on the house. Thanks for any ideas.Patrick

Be sure to mount some sort of spring or shock absorber between the bag and whatever you end up hanging it from. I tried hanging one directly to a joist in my old basement, and the heavy eye-bolt I used pulled out almost instantly.

just make sure the bag doesn't hang when it's freezing outside. i know you're in NV, but i know it can get cold in some parts. i spoke with century and that was the sole reason the lifetime warranty switched over to a year warranty.

Get the Century "Wavemaster" instead, it is a free standing bag that you can fill the base with water or filter media (pours better than sand). I have been using them at my school for nine years, they are great. $139.00 shipped(to texas) from karatemart.com.

I had one of the 100 lb Century Wave bags hanging outside in my front yard for about 6 years. It stayed outside all the time, during Winter too. Never had a problem with it, until the wife got tired of it being there. Sports Authority sells them.

I ordered my bag last week, I called today wondering where it was? "They just came in today" was what the guy told me. So they took my order without letting me know it wasn't in stock. Can't recommend these guys.Patrick
